Microsoft announced they will contribute to the OpenSSH project, so the connectivity between Linux and Windows gets a boost.

Windows users are using tools like PuTTY for years now & this is a good solution to communicate with Linux/Unix servers/desktops, but in the near future it will be possible to use PowerShell for SSH communication.
