Here in Labrador we have made a cluster from the six computers at the local unemployment insurance office. The cluster drives an image recognition program designed to recognize baby seals which is in turn connected by satellite to automated seal clubbers (affectionately known as thumpers) located on the ice flows. The whole process is coordinated from the pub in Tuktiuktuk. Works like a charm, don't ya know. GreyBeard Save the whales -- collect the whole set! |
