I gave Progeny a try also after their recent release candidate...I was IMPRESSED! It installs exactly like Fedora Core 3 does AND it has the beauty of being LSB 2.0 compliant! I used the 2.6.X kernel and had my debian desktop with Gnome up and running in about 1 hour. As a MEPIS enthusiast, this distro had a lot to live up to...but it surpassed all of my expectations. |
