Consumer reports recommended Mac over Windows, not Linux. The author says that he feels that we will know that Linux has really arrived *when* mags like Consumer Reports start recommending it as a Windows alternative. |

sbergman27: His actual words are: "My guess is we'll know that desktop Linux has crossed the threshold when reviewers and Consumer Reports mention it as an alternative to Windows." I guess that plenty of reviewers have already done as much. I'm not holding my breath for Consumer Reports. |
