I liked the old frothing-at-the-mouth approach from M$ better because it made them look stupid.

Re Jeans: He sounds like a skilled PR guy, but he is really just a prostitute, hired by M$ to come over to the dark side for $$. No doubt he is now financially secure for life. Nothing against Mr. Jeans. Heck, I would probably do the same for enough money .....and, yes, I know what that makes me, :-) Of course, I might suddenly develop a "twitch" in my right eye during these presentations.

M$ keeps experimenting with ways & means of defeating OSS. So, it shouldn't be surprising that subtlety might be one of their methods. After all, they've done bullying and craftiness over the years. Subtlety isn't far from craftiness, is it? Or, might they be mistaken for one another??
