...using and automating the new testing installer, I can certainly understand this decision. Picking the Debian distribution is not like picking SUSE or RedHat. With Debian, you get the build architecture, distribution architecture and a complete, powerful and customizable installer. It's build tools and giant, consistent package repositories that make Debian powerful, regardless of how people complain about the release schedule. If you need to control your package builds, distribution and installer, Debian is just the right tools for the job...
