Earlier in the summer, Con Zymaris http://www.itnews.com.au/newsstory.aspx?CIaNID=19560 filed a complaint against Microsoft with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) over anti-competitive tactics allegedly used by Microsoft. So, we caught up with him to discuss it and other issues around Microsoft.

Con sees Linux winning so well in Australia that laggards in the corporate space are considered anachronistic luddites by their peers. In addition, none of the main-street computer retail outlets offer full-price, business-legitimate Microsoft software anymore. They only offer Student and Teacher Editions and Academic Editions, which are sold at 75% discount. Is this really a price war?
