while it may sound selfish that we want to push firefox on helpless victims, it is completely the opposite. Because linux and firefox are so easy to work with, people can easily get together a whole bunch of computers and a portal site and give those victims what they need. A true win for the open source community and a great initiative.

ASPs, MSPs, software publishers, business groups... coming together to offer what they can in the way of services and assistance - virtual computing, application hosting, messaging.

Technology can be the key to helping these people re-connect with team members, customers, vendors - their lives and livelihoods.

If you have services and/or capacity you can donate to the cause - please contact the coordinator (contact information on the website listed above at cpaasp.com).

We're offering free, temporary services for those who might need them. Participants with an offering need to provide a brief description of what you can provide (including, possibly, how much of it), along with a logo and business contact information.

No selling - this is simply an effort by those with services offering to those who really need them to get back on their feet.
