What facts? True Facts? or is it False Facts or No Facts at all!

Could it possibly be that going for the whole Microsoft "C#" thing and jumping on the .NET bandwagon wasn't necessarily a great idea?

On the other hand, I suppose it had to be tried. Thankfully, the FOSS community has a lot more diversity to work with, so if it turns out this one attempt to get in bed with Microsoft's design is a bust, it's not as though we don't have numerous free-and-open alternatives to work with instead.

Quoting: "Microsoft 'bars' Mono ..."

How do you think Microsoft will play this one, if or when they backtrack due to negative publicity?

Quoting: [made up!] Wow! What did I know, I just thought they were contagious and all!

Sounds reasonable to me.
