So Microsoft, who won't work with the Open Document Format and who tell lies about Open Source left right and centre are here joining in with an Open Content Project regarding books.

First I was confused. Now I understand.

They're more than happy to jump on the Open Source bandwagon as long as it's not their own stuff they have to open source.

Like the song says;

hypocrisy is the greatest luxury raise the double standard (Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy - Hypocrisy Is The Greatest Luxury)

Remember those old Ray Harryhausen films with slightly dodgily animated monsters slugging it out? Think Google and Microsoft!

MS will do 'whatever' it perceives is necessary to win in the marketplace. They've proven that over and over.
