Way to go BECTA. The big test comes when Ministers see the report. Will they say "OK, We better get on with it." Or, will they say "Where's Microsoft in all this? Sorry - no deal." We have a history of Governments commissioning studies which they then completely ignore. |

Read some of the replies posted by UK IT workers. It's depressing stuff. One of my biggest fears of late has been that Tony Blair would screw everything up by handing the UK to MS. Oh well, Europe isn't far away. Might have to think about moving if the worst happens. |
