If any of you are aware of Grameen Bank

and their system of micro loans to women or have read Yunus' Bankers to the poor
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1586481983/qid... you will know that giving opportunities to women in the third world is remarkably effective. If you don't know about Yunus and Grameen bank you should read up on what they are doing. Very impressive. |
