Despite the fact that I hand off Windows work as much as possible, I still end up spending much more time holding Windows' hand than anything else.

I'd dispute the exact order of the last few contenders, since Netware seems to "Just Work" and not require tinkering short of hardware failure, and the package management under Linux (typically Mandrake with some Debian, Red Hat or SuSE) makes it a lot less work than Solaris, but he's got the general idea.

I should add that ABW (Anything But Windows) is generally a lot easier to remote administer, mainly due to the richer command-line tools, and the vastly reduced requirment to reboot at the drop of a fedora.
