If you really want to get into what's going on, you should investigate Rus Bayne. Although "Rus Bayne stated that he had no personal interest in the dispute" he has also started that he does plan on creating a distribution from the Lycoris code base. So is he saying that none of the code in question will be in his distribution? He has mentioned that the Lycoris codebase is old and not of much use, yet he continues to build his distribution from it.

Why is it that he has so many developers under NDA for his distribution? What is he hiding? I'd like to see these answers.
