Windows was not allowed to connect to the internet.

With over 100 new malicious programs found each and every day, writing and maintaining AV software is counter productive, the correct and open-source way is to fix the vulnerability.

With Microsoft being unwilling or unable to fix the all the vulnerabilities in its OS's, the only logical answer is to keep it off the internet, if you use it at all.

I have to have one copy of Windows running... that is exactly my solution. It never connects to the internet :D.
