LXer and modifing the CSS

One point I love about Lxer is that fact that users can modify the css to suit their needs. For what ever reason for the past month I can change all the CSS points EXCEPT FOR the background colour of page.

Ironically that was the only real change I had made. I changed it from the default colour to the blue of the text. This made it easy to know when i was logged in.

I have tried resetting the css, changing every setting I can think of, all without success. I have instead switched to changing the header color so i know when i am logged in.

It's not just one machine but every machine I have access to.
