I smell more astroturfing. This continual crabbing about 'Linux doesn't support binary drivers the right way' has been debunked many times. It's just another attempt to discredit Linux and to try to take advantage of GPL code without having to honor the GPL.

Absolutely not. Talk ablut a kludge, that whole project is just nuts.

totally agree - just because something does something one way doesn't make it right or wrong just different.

like one of the other posters said if I want binary proprietary private secret drivers I would run windows.

I don't think the way the solaris kernel does somethings is the right way.
