yesterday I found the page http://lxer.com/module/pages/v/10/

It seems to be a way to have LXer news emailed.

I've created a daily alert but nothing is arrived...

maybe it's an experimental feature not working correctly, or an old feature now disabled ???

I think it's old. How did you find it under all the dust, cobwebs and pizza remnants?

I was searching a way to have linux news mailed, and I hoped to find something in LXer.

then, with google, I found the link above.

if the service is now disabled, I hope you'll reconsider the alert feature, because having little time to read news I prefer reading email newsletters (groklaw, eff, fsfe, LXer :-( and so on) than browsing searching for news.

PS I found Newsforge and Slashdot newsletters, but you understand why I would prefer a LXer daily digest...

PPS nobody other than me would like the alert feature ???

I think the RSS feed took the popularity contest over email alerts.

then, you don't want to send me a daily newsletter ???

really ???

:-(

... (searching the web) ...

I found yahoo alerts (alerts.yahoo.com) that send me a daily email from your rss feed...

hooray!!!

PS in italy we have the saying "chi la dura la vince..." (only for italian readers ;-)
