I used to use RadRails on my Fedora box at work but never could get it to work after a certain version. I updated it one day and then was unable to use it because it told me that the workspace I chose was already in use. Nevermind that I would try creating new directories, with no other Eclipse or RadRails files in them; it still gave that error. I switched back to my beloved gvim, which I had been missing anyway because of all its commands.

I like the eclipse ide and have tried its ruby support from time to time, but I have to admit that I also have always come back to my trusty vi for "real work". But the eclipse/radrails environment looks looks like it's on a nice track and is worth watching... imho.
