Red Hat is not the first and will not be the last. At some time all distros with a market share as Red Hat's will have to do the same. A wise business choice is to support a set of current products, its a choice made on resources spent on each older product, and less on the market share of an aged distro release. When developemnt deadlines demand time & resources to complete a current release its wise to have all hands available. |
