you could always grab a copy of PCLinuxOS Magazine :D It's made by volunteers in the PCLinuxOS community and will _ALWAYS BE FREE_. While not a subscription based magazine, it is PDF or HTML format and is available to download at your leisure. It's also not always specifically for PCLinuxOS as a distro with many articles geared at new users and Linux in general.
