US has made a step that patents are weak and dull tooth, now its time to turn the fight to copyright, in short comes to nothing more then "I did it first". Across software, we have many that are milling out software code faster then they can type, running to copyright it, the fight is going to be copyrights very soon from code mills. Unlike the patent office, copyrights will be a "who gets here first" grant. How will indepentent developers create, when copyrights loom over, copyrights different then patents, will do more to remove features of programming languages standards then the threats from patents ever did. As for music and movies, the US like others are looking out for few, the music and movie business has had control at Government level in the US for a long time now, high-speed internet is just one item thay hve slowed the growth of for their own pockets. Indepentent music and movie makers will find it hard to defind their work, when copyright (music movie) mills come with claims they have done this and you are a law breaker dirtbag. The world is looking out for music movie and software buddies, the big guys that is, and unless you are or become one soon, the right to develop or create will become a dream.

What I can't understand is, how can something called Free Market Agreement take away Freedoms? How does it come politicians are not 'punished' for this kind of disinformation by giving a name that is exactly the opposite of the content, probably done delibarate too?

They should have called it Closed Market Anti-creative Agreement.
