Last I heard these technologies were available in $1000 Xeon and Opteron CPU's for servers. Anyone heard if they're coming available for desktop chips like a nice $65 Sempron, maybe? |

Through my personal experience :- Core 2 Duo E6600 does support Xen 3.1 HVM VMs. I also believe that any :- Pentium D 8xx/9xx, Core 2 Duo E4x00/E6x00, Core 2 Extreme X6800/QX6700, Core 2 Quad Q6x00 has this feature as well as :- AMD Athlon64 X2 Dual Core family The last ones are pretty cheap. |

I would also suggest you a board from ASUS:- ASUS M2N SLI Deluxe, ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe ATX, ASUS M2N32-SLI Premium Vista Edition ATX Choice of the board for AMD might affect your system |

While I spend a lot of time analyzing such things as MB's before making a buying decision, I find I wind up with Asus about 80% of the time.Quoting:Choice of the board for AMD might affect your system Did you mean specifically in reference to VT, or just generally? |

Generally. In my opinion, Intel based hardware is much more predictable. |
