M$ spin="encouraging new voices in the ISO process" unspun ="stacking by shills"

Why doesn't eweek just call a spade a spade? Advertising revenue from M$?

lol Montezuma, no kidding. That's as bad as Matt Asay's bipolar criticism of Microsoft. One day he's all "MS bad. Shame" and then the next day going all gooey:

http://blogs.cnet.com/8301-13505_1-9795188-16.html "Given what an ardent critic of Microsoft I can be, it might be surprising that the Open Source Business Conference will feature a keynote from Brad Smith, Microsoft's General Counsel. I invited Brad to take our "footnote" slot that Clay Christensen, Eben Moglen, Geoffrey Moore, and others have held. It's our prime slot, and Brad will fill it well.

"Why let Microsoft speak? For one, because I've always felt Microsoft had more to give to open source than to take from it."

No, really, I am not making this up! Poor old victimized Microsoft, they need us to help them spread their FUD and propaganda.
