Hmmm, where's the evidence?

88 million is a lot. Considering most PCs still have some form of Windows infestation on them I have to ask where is the evidence of this really making any difference? The great thing about figures is that people, the press and others like to believe them. A set of well researched figures in the hands of the press when facing representatives of companies or politics results in hard questions being asked to which good answers are never given to which markets react.

Does anyone have any real evidence?

All I can say is that they can subtract 2 from that number. I have bought 2 laptops since Vista started shipping, They didn't even get a chance to get turned down. Boot, insert Sabayon DVD, wipe HD and install.
