Quoting: if you really are bugged by blobs in the kernel, you should put your geek-boy money where your mouth is

Bugs, blobs, kernels, and mouth all in the same sentence- you spoiled my lunch. But it was worth it, nice article :)

What tuxchick said, except that "geek-boy" is (quite unintentionally, I'm sure) sexist. Why assume gender? tuxchick spoke out as loudly as anyone against binary blobs and somehow I don't think "boy" describes her terribly well.

Our lady editor got offered a better job. I have long hair. You'll have to make do with with me instead.

A vicious officious ferret. Which would be more than enough to keep people in line. A ferret is not something you want to mess with.

Just so you know Colonel, we will be introducing a new addition to the Editorial staff very soon. And it will be someone of the fairer sex, I can assure you. I am just waiting on a couple of things before it becomes official.

I am as aware as anyone that LXer is in need of some 'balance', if it can be called that.

Well, given that a number of the frequent posters are known to be somewhat unbalanced, I'd say that's fairly obvious. :)

Colonel my dyslexia kicked in when I read your post so I read it as Great Scott and it reminded me of Back to the Future.

Cant be anything worse than my ex wife thinks of me, and I don't loose a wink of sleep over that.

@boomboom don't feel bad I read it that way too on the first pass.

I don't feel to bad, but now whenever I read a post from the colonel I get a mental image of Doc Brown.
