If I remember correctly DR16 was the version of Enlightenment shipped on top of GNOME in Red Hat Linux 6.0. Hey, it's only taken them 9 or 10 years of development to get to version 1.0! Quite the pace of development, that. I take it version 1.0 of Enlightenment 17 will be out by 2015 at this rate. Is it any wonder why Enlightenment lost mindshare and why GNOME replaced it with Sawmill/Sawfish/Metacity as the default window manager? |
