The young don't remember Wylbur I guess (weren't born yet). Next thing you know they'll want to name it Netware or (fill in better example here please!). :-) |

It's "the Gimp" I don't want no nonesense renaming it. Do a rebranded version from the same codebase for those "Professionals" and call it something boring like "Genuine Image Manipulator Profressional" |

But, isn't the name offensive to people who have a bad leg? Personally I like technical names. GIMP, Kmail, that way the name reminds me what it's function is. Useful in a long menu list, or when trying to remember "now what's the name of that ap again?" |
