hey, articles don't go bad like milk caitlyn. It's been a busy news week. I'm surprised that only the junior varsity trolls have come out to comment on your blog post, maybe the A squad is already gone for the weekend. Or they're all busy defending Mono in the other thread and calling people who don't like it non-contributors with no right to comment. |

Well, I do appreciate you running it. I also have noticed that while the quality of comments here is generally good, brand X is heavy on trolls and Susan's site is even worse. Isn't it funny how some people will scream "Censorship!" if you moderate their comments and then tell other people to shut up. |

What gripes me the most is the moron-level commentary. My wish is for interesting lively comments, a bit of thoughtfulness, something beyond "your mother" "no, your mother" ad nauseum. Agree, disagree, go off on a wild tangent, just make it worthwhile. I feel like I'm babysitting 12-year olds. Except that's a slam on most 12-year olds. |

tuxchick's super secret identity is a loosely guarded non-secret. She is the managing editor of Linux Today. Susan Linton is the person behind Tuxmachines.org. For some reason Carla, ahem... my bad... tuxchick never names her site on this one. I guess she thinks it's wrong to plug the competition. |

True caitlyn, I think it's bad manners to plug brand x on LXer. LXer is special :) I should also mention that a lot of brand x talkbacks are quite good and worthy. Sometimes I let my peeve at the junk dampen my appreciation of the good stuff. |

TC's site is two clicks away from this site. Click on "Linux Homepage" near the bottom of the right column, then click the third header in the left column (the one below LXer's feed). And that's how you plug it without plugging it. |
