Cups/Windows question - groups and printers

We are in the process of deciding how to redo our base lab loads and are testing Win7 (*gag* - well, at least they finally separated the HAL out so you can use the load on different machines...mostly...) and are wondering if this is possible. We have several labs, all with their own printers. I believe we have a couple different models floating around, with different amounts of ram. What we are wondering is: Can we setup the machines loads with a basic printer, have the machines from each lab in a group in cups with the correct printer for that lab, and then have Cups/Samba push the correct driver for that lab to the machines? If so, that would save us the trouble of having to manually setup the printer for the particular lab on each machine after loading them from the base load.

Does that make sense? Anybody know if it's doable? Thanks!
