SCO should make an offer.

$20.00US plus all of the Billions they are going to make in Court by suing everyone who can spell 'Linux' or ever read a Charles Schultz comic strip.

@number6x I wouldn't mind IBM making a good enough offer and picking up Novell, instead of SCO. If this could be realistically done. IIRC, starting seven years ago, IBM was another legal target of the SCO group. So IBM integrating Novell and locking out SCO, would be another plus in this regard. 2c

It would infect IBM with MS Mono though. It could be easily cured with enough Java or just spin off Mono in a seprate foundation. With a cash injection and the rights to the Novell deal insofar it pertains to Mono it could make for an interesting twist.

IBM might not be interested that much though. MS is to close with Novell. Once burned, twice shy.
