Windows has had an API for stealing window contents and injecting events for YEARS. Their testing system ("Microsoft Test", how imaginitive) does these for its stock in trade. And let's not forget the Print Screen key. It doesn't just capture a window's contents, it can capture an entire screen! |

It's a cancer! Stay away from it -- it'll infect the whole computer industry, and maybe even bring modern civilization to its knees!. More seriously: why isn't this a concern with having whole UIs implemented in HTML and javascript? |
