Anybody using openSUSE 11.3 or 11.4 will be immediately at home, although I always use the folder view which switches me into the conventional KDE3.5 or (if you like) Trinity mode. It is a great pity that the folder view was not explored as well, however I am quietly confident I am going to enjoy using 12.1 at this stage. I understand from a couple of mini-reports that stability is excellent in 12.1 (it certainly has been for me in 11.3) and KDE4.7's speed is vastly improved over earlier versions. It all reads and looks pretty good. Download in a few days after the first rush is over. |
