So OpenSUSE has admitted that they're not ready to release an RC of 12.2 and this author is up and arms about serious problems with the community. Frankly, I think it's refreshing when a distribution follows a strict "release when ready model." Other distributions should take note (Canonical, are you listening?) Why rush a buggy product out the door when a few more months will ensure as many bugs are squashed as possible? Some people have zero common sense.

Well, I can see the argument for either side (though I do prefer "release when actually ready, myself).

However, OpenSUSE is demonstrating that they understand the distinction between means and ends. Bravo!
