of installing Rhythmbox, or downloading the addon.

I tried it with a whole bunch of songs, all of which I know there are tabs for, I got nothing when I used this addon in Rhythmbox.

In Short don't bother.

I know there are a ton of apps out there that can use keybaord (musical, not Qwerty although it can be used) and guitar to create and reproduce music, but one of the most amazing I have ever found is ZynAddSubFX. (There we go again with goofy app naming again ;-)

This is one of the apps we feature on our Reglue respins for musicians. It isn't the most intuitive app to use but then again, this isn't MS Paint or a digital calculator either. Below is an extremely short example of what can be done with this app, without any others being used, aside from converting it to Ogg. For you Children of the 60's and early 70's, note how the Leslie Horn is part of the synth. That in itself is amazing......If I didn't know better, I would think I was listening to Rick Wakeman's Hammond B3 with twin Leslies spinning.
