MTBS -- Microsoft Trained Brain Syndrome Really, it explains so much... For a recent high-profile example, it's undoubtedly a significant contributing factor behind the recent City of Freiburg (Germany) failure to successfully migrate from MS Office to Libre/Open Office. (not that I would suggest ignoring the politics and proprietary vendor "dirty tricks" as major factors -- those can't be dismissed either...) |
