of the link going to some extra wierd PDF with a blurb about religion instead of the actual topic. Also seems to me that Tommy should also make the content as a directly visible standard webpage instead of MAKING visitors go to that PDF for the content! 2c |

The "blurb about religion" is actually the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Thomas Holbrook does say:Quoting:On the Unix portion of this digital magazine, Debian "Wheezy" is reviewed. Incidentally, the first amendment that is quoted has one phrase emphasized using italics: "or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press;" Since that is the emphasized section, that is probably the point of including the quote. Freedom of speech, including written speech, is constitutionally guaranteed in the United States. A very strong argument for the legality of copyleft in the USA and therefore very on-topic for a Linux discussion. |
