I'm using Mandrake 9.2 right now. I had red hat but when I got my new laptop mandrake was the one that my research told me would work with everything. I would like to try Suse. Mandrake was an easier install than redhat. As far as use I think I like mandrake better because of the control panel for hardware and software. Of course redhat may have the same type of thing now. I think the last version of redhat I used was 7.3. Mandrake also worked great with partioning my windows drive and dual booting with XP. Again I here the newer red hat will do the same.

Of course I am speaking on ease of use for setting up. I've not done much with linux other than installing and getting it set up to use email and internet.
