While the message is every bit alarmist I think the alarm needs to be sounded. This is too powerful to ignore. I say build a better filesystem than WinFS, make it cross platform capable (make it such that it can replace WinFS on a Longhorn system) and thus pull the rug right out from underneath them. And do it in a fair and open way so that no one can honestly say "They've been cheat'n..." |
