That is not a flaw ANY such infinite loop would crash ANY OS - derr.

You might as well type this at your console :

:() { :|: & } ; :

and watch your Linux freeze just the same.

Now is there a patch for this too?

All this is a bit of FUD don't you think? Still - if it ends up with an even more secure (tho still crashable) kernel so much the better. UML would prevent these scenarions but I haven't played with it yet.

Actually there is a patch for that, it's called "ulimit". Pretty cool though, thanks for sharing!
