The article is a press release but I think it is worth while scanning. It is a very significant win for Linux as it goes directly to the infrastructure of the French public sector. Migrating desktops will be much easier when the I/F is Linux based not NT. The city of Paris is in "play" in the desk top area and I think this will strengthen Mandrake's position. |
