Linux Mint 14 "Nadia" is based on Ubuntu 12.10 and uses Cinnamon 1.6 as its desktop. We are greeted to the new file manager in Nemo and the vast improvements in performance in this latest release of Linux Mint.

Fuduntu is a distribution forked from Fedora but has the feel of an Ubuntu based distribution. It's main target is older systems as well as laptops and netbooks. It uses awn as its dock applet which gives it a nice added touch.

Netrunner is an installable LiveDVD KUbuntu based distribution that is geared towards novice users of Linux. It is packed with a lot of programs and is enjoyable to use. Netrunner also comes with WINE and Virtualbox pre-installed as well.

DreamLinux 5 Review
