Age of Wonders 3: Linux port if enough audience

A user on Facebook asked Age of Wonders developers if they are planning on supporting Linux for AoW3 and they answered that they would consider it if there was enough audience. This sounds like a good opportunity to let them know that there is a Linux market they can tap into.

Terasology is an open-source survival and discovery game with influences from Minecraft, Dwarf Fortress, and Dungeon Keeper. The game is in a pre-alpha state, but it's already fun to play! Build #24 has been released!

Euro Truck Simulator 2 a game widely known to be heading to Linux has begun it's closed beta and I have been lucky enough to have been gifted a copy to test, here's my thoughts on this odd title.

It's the Alienware X51. No doubt it will come to many as a shock, as it did to myself. It would seem Dell wants to get serious with Linux gamers, and more specifically with Ubuntu gamers. This is great news!

Valve has done another push and put up 5 new games to Linux! All in Beta though so be warned there will be bugs! The titles are Ricochet, Deathmatch Classic, Team Fortress Classic, Half Life: Blue Shift and Half Life: Opposing Force!

So another month and another Steam hardware survey is out, again it seems I missed it since it doesn't count everyone of course. This time our % went down, oh noes!

A Thought on What Holds Linux Gaming Back

My thoughts on some of the perils of Linux gaming, particularly the engine. All the talk nowadays if of "unification" or to paraphrase Mark Shuttleworth and Ubuntu the "availability of a single interface for all devices." And with all this talk I began to wonder why more gaming engine's aren't jumping on board.

Double Fine And 90,000 Friends Present A Teaser For Broken Age

The Double Fine Adventure finally has a name, a trailer and a website! Read the full article for more details. After deliberation and a community vote, the name for Double Fine's cross-platform crowd funded adventure game has been tentatively set as Broken Age (it may change in the future, but I've got a hunch it will grow on everybody).
