Macedonia: Municipality of Makedonska Kamenica Migrated to OpenOffice.org

As a result of the training for OpenOffice.org conducted by Metamorphosis Foundation and USAID’s MDW project for employees of the Macedonia’s local self-government units, municipality of Makedonska Kamenica started to actively use OpenOffice.org on all computers in the municipality.

Macedonia: Employees from 22 Municipalities Trained to Use OpenOffice.org

74 employees from 22 municipalities were trained to use OpenOffice.org within the training prepared by Metamorphosis Foundation and USAID’s Make Decentralization Work Project. The training was held in Ohrid, from 15 to 20 January, 2007. Mutual characteristic of the participants was the fact that they were from small municipalities without employed IT expert (system administrator). The trainings were held in Macedonian and Albanian language.

OpenOffice.org Training for Local Self-government Units in Macedonia

Metamorphosis Foundation organized OpenOffice.org training for representatives of local self-government units in Republic of Macedonia in Ohrid, from 15 to 20 January, 2007. About 100 employees from 25 Macedonian municipalities were trained during the six day training.
