This one was fast! All Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty Narwhal) users can now update their favorite web browser to the latest version, Firefox 5, officially released yesterday (June 21st).

The new and improved Mozilla Firefox 5 web browser has been made available for download a few days ago on Mozilla's trusted FTP sites, but the official release was yesterday morning, on June 21st, 2011.

A day after that, on June 22nd, Canonical unleashes the highly expected update to the Mozilla Firefox web browser, replacing Firefox 4.0.1 with Firefox 5.0. It is available only for the Ubuntu 11.04 operating system!

Therefore, all Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty Narwhal) users can easily update their systems today to the new Firefox 5 web browser by running the Update Manager utility.

Among the features brought by Mozilla Firefox 5 we can mention the Location-Aware Browsing, support for CSS animations, increased discoverability by using the Do-Not-Track header preference, improved canvas, JavaScript and memory usage.
