A New Version Of Libvirt Brings Many Changes
Celebrating the US Independence Day, while many Americans are spending time with their families, drinking (usually nasty) beer and BBQ'ing, others talking to Microsoft, the Red Hat virtualization team has released a new version of libvirt. The libvirt 0.9.3 release brings many changes.
The 4 July release of libvirt 0.9.3 offers the new vcpupin libvirt API, supports reboots with the QEMU driver, supports multi-function PXI devices, and has many other API improvements. There's also improved documentation, greater portability, many bug-fixes, clean-ups, and numerous other improvements. While libvirt 0.9.2 was released just last month, the 0.9.3 change-log (as shown on the news page) is quite lengthy.
For those interested in this virtualization API/library that supports KVM, QEMU, Xen, VirtualBox, and many other virtualization systems, visit libvirt.org.
