Bynari and Broadleaf Partner to Deliver Turnkey Groupware Appliance Automatically Serves, Stores and Protects Mail and Shared Calendars for Small and Mid-Sized Businesses. Bynari's Outlook-compatible Microsoft Exchange(TM) alternative now available on Broadleaf's no maintenance self-protecting ARCHEON server platform to deliver affordable groupware with instant onsite recovery and one phone call disaster recovery.

Bynari, the Dallas-based Linux groupware software company, and Broadleaf Services, a Boston-based provider of managed business data continuity platforms have announced a partnership that will provide the small to mid-sized business market with an appliance-based groupware service. The turnkey offering gives companies a "plug it in and go" communication and collaboration platform that requires no IT expertise to install. The solution is supported by managed services that include automated data protection as well as remote monitoring and maintenance to provide high reliability while reducing the total cost of ownership. These features are further enhanced by a guaranteed cost-free recovery process after data loss or facility disaster.

The Bynari Insight Appliance powered by Broadleaf ARCHEON features a business server appliance pre-loaded with Bynari Insight Server installed on the customer's office network. This appliance, supported by ARCHEON's built-in onsite file protection and recovery services, remote monitoring, and maintenance, backup and recovery services, creates a zero-maintenance, zero-backup and cost free disaster recovery groupware proposition for cost-conscious customers.
