Mageia 2 Has Been Officially Released

The Mageia development team, through Anne Nicolas, proudly announced a few minutes ago, May 22nd, the immediate availability for download of the Mageia 2 Linux operating system.

Mageia 2 is the proof that Mandriva is not dead! The new RPM-based Linux operating system from Mageia offers bleeding-edge core components combined with some of the greatest apps available these days.

"Thanks everybody for all the hard work during these last months. I guess we can be proud if this release and we hope you will enjoy this new version. Big thanks for last run to tmb and QA team who did not sleep a lot these last days :) Spread Mageia 2 and enjoy!" - was stated in the official announcement.
