For those not in Germany this week for XDC2012 and/or Oktoberfest, here are some new benchmarks to look at of the AMD FX-8150 "Bulldozer" processor on the Linux kernels from Linux 3.0 through the current Linux 3.6 kernel that's currently under development.

To complement other updated AMD Bulldozer benchmarks from Ubuntu 12.10, here are tests of the mainline/vanilla Linux kernels in a stock configuration going back to Linux 3.0.

These benchmarks from an AMD FX-8150 Bulldozer system was running Ubuntu 12.10 while swapping the kernel. The full system hardware/software details are available at OpenBenchmarking.org with the full results, system logs, etc.

Below are just a few of the benchmark results between Linux 3.0 and Linux 3.6 from this latest-generation AMD desktop hardware.
