Tizen 2.0 Alpha SDK With Source-Code Released

An alpha release of the Tizen 2.0 SDK with source-code was released this week.

Among the features to the Tizen 2.0 Alpha are an enhanced web framework with better HTMI5/W3C API support, advanced IDE/SDK for web application development, and a new Tizen Platform SDK that helps platforms based on OBS. The enhanced web framework for Tizen 2.0 includes a multi-process WebKit2-based Web Runtime, new HTML5 features like video subtitles/captions, a battery status API, screen orientation API, and other new tag supports. The web framework also now supports new Tizen Device APIs for file transfers, notifications, and power control.
